MARRY ME by Jason Derulo

The one song that caught my attention when I was driving. I immediately fell in love with the song. Dint know it was a hit until I check it out on You Tube and it became my current favorite song after hearing to the lyrics  of the song properly. Its just one of the few songs which really make sense this days. Anyways, just a short post. Goodnight. <3

MORE THAN WORDS

Actions speaks louder than words. Saying " I love you" is clearly not enough.
Easy said than to be done, that's why actions explains it all.

ABSOLUTE FITNESS

Selfishness demands, " What's in it for me? ", while Love asks, " What can I give?". I was reading an article about marriage and love and this reminds me of the feeling I had by just giving. Even if its something really small, or whether or not the other party felt appreciative, its my own satisfaction that matters. come on, course who would now be happy to be receiving a small surprise once in a while right? haha.

This story comes down to my working experience in Absolute Fitness, Queensbay Mall. Having the opportunity to work in AF for 3 months, it cannot be more memorable compared to my previous working experience as a waitress. My position in AF is known as fitness consultant, hence I am basically doing sales in the Company.

The one and only thing that I have learn throughout my working experience in AF is teamwork and that says it all about my experience there. Queensbay team is the only team which focuses on teamwork. I can proudly say that I have the best manager so far because without him, the word "teamwork" wont even exist in the Company.  Motivating us every single day without fail. He is the kind of manager where concludes that every consultant there is like a family. He treats us like one,he understands us like one and he teach us that we have to be like one in order to achieve our goal. Knowing that I have a great manager, I also have a bunch of wonderful people to work with including the personal trainer team. We do not hesitate to help and advise each other in all areas and that makes us special.

In terms of working, I learn how to communicate with different kind of people, I learn how to present the membership package in a way where it will not scare the customers away. Not only that, I learned how to handle rejections and also learn how to say "No" to certain things. Also, I learn more about health and exercise. I learn that in sales line, one have to be very hardworking to get what you want and one cannot bring personal issues during work. Its also crazy to know that in the sales line, your working hours is more than 8 hours. No doubt, the best part is I got the benefit to fully utilize the gym without paying a single cent. hehe. and I am blessed to have two of my friend whom is a personal trainer to train me throughout this 3 months.

Yes, I am the youngest and unfortunately the only female consultant there. I do not know whether to feel fortunate or not because most of the time, I felt like I am being treated like a guy. hehe BUT equally to that, I must say that most of the time, I am being treated like a little sister. I am the eldest among my 2 siblings in my family, therefore, it is definitely nice to be treated like a little sister for once. I felt protected instead of protecting, felt free instead of being responsible all the time, felt loved and cared by all of them.

I count my blessings everyday to be experiencing this.  I truly believe that every sale that I get is a gift from God and He is the first person whom I will thank after I close the sale. He gives me the opportunity to meet different kind of people. I realized that there is countless types of people in this world, each with different personality and reaction towards a situation. Some can make me laugh, some makes me flattered and there are people who also likes to get on my nerves but then come to think about it, they are who they are. They are brought up this way and more importantly, we cant judge for who they have become.

I never though that I will only be working there for 3 months but I have to be obedient. Now, having ample of time, sitting in front of my laptop figuring out how to put my working experience in words, I am starting to miss my job. Despite coming home feeling so tired, thinking about how to get sales in and reach my target by the end of the month, its really exhausting. but then, thinking about how much or energy we and effort we put in just to get the sales in as a team, thinking about the feeling of achieving our own target and also the group target at the end of the month without leaving anybody out, it simply's overtake all the negativity we have to face. It feels like home every time I step into the gym. I can simply go there with a messy look and then take my time to clean up myself by noon.

Never once I have regretted working in Absolute Fitness, Queensbay Mall. It was one great journey. If I were to have the chance to repeat it again, I would. I have to thank a very good friend of mine, Adrian Oyog for recommending me this job. I step in the gym not knowing anyone and after three months, I can confidently say and call each and everyone of them my family. Often we do not talk about our work but just trying to know more about each other especially the times where we are free during working hours. Its nice to just recall how I became close to each and everyone of them in a personal way. Some of them started with just one meal together or just by coincidentally sitting beside each other or by a normal conversation. 7 personal trainers and 6 consultants including myself and my manager.  I will not know where to begin if I were to write down their personality. All of them are just so nice, so helpful, so wonderful, so funny and entertaining, so genuine and most of all have a goal in life. One in a million! Now, no longer an employee, I am certainly sure that we are still gonna keep in touch and be friends for a very very long time.

I have to also thank One more person and that person is God. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to work in an awesome place. I thank God for all the times where He hold me up and never let me go. I thank God for all the sales I get for the past 3 months. He showed me the power of prayer and faith. Someone once told me in the midst of giving up that God does not work in times where others are working towards something but He works in times where it is just another ordinary day for others. It was Sales day and each consultant have to at least have 2 to 3 new membership but on that day, I have none, whereas when the next day came, I closed 2 cases and I am one step closer in reaching my goal for that month. God is so good to me and its because I believe that He is in control.

Ahhhh, back to giving, in the midst of everything, I did one good deed at least once in every week and not towards my fellow teammates but to the cleaners there. Its was a sudden thought that came in to my mind and I decided to do it because I realized that it does makes a difference throughout my day. After realizing it, I start to reach out my hands to my colleagues as well. So yah, love is not just about expressing your feelings towards others. It is more than that. It is also about wanting to see others happy and I experienced it personally. Thank You Daddy. <3
