CHARITY HIGH-TEA

CHARITY HI-TEA DANCE and FASHION SHOW. Organized by the Lioness Club of Penang.
It was held at Berjaya Hotel. The main reason my sister and I attended this event is to support my grandma as she is the president of the Club and also for this event.
Mummy supported grandma by buying a few seats.

Table under mum's name.

Mummy did not manage to make it for the event, therefore Chery took her place.

The following pictures was taken during the fashion show. The dresses and evening gowns was designed by Richard Rivalee. He is a Malaysian fashion designer based in Penang. Richard is best known for his design in High Fashion under the label of Richard Rivalee Couture House. The uniqueness of his collections is that each masterpiece that was sold is never to be repeated. His woman wear collections covers from Malay style to Western style evening and bridal gowns. His menswear collection on the other hand covers modern classic suits, tuxedos and clothing.
If any of you who is interested in having your own tailored-made gowns, you can find him at his store along Bangkok Lane.

The fashion show was divided into three parts. The first one in particular, the models walks out with a piece of jewelry by Amee Philips. Apologies as the jewelry cant really be seen in pictures. There was an auction for a piece of jewelry which was sponsored by Amee Philips herself and it cost around RM5000 in total and Lioness Club manage to get RM3000 for WCC (Woman Centre for Change) from a generous buyer.
The following two parts was just a fashion show by Richard Rivalee.

I particularly love this evening gown so much. The moment she step out from the door into the ballrooom, my eyes was literally locked with the dress. I was looking at the dress the whole time. The cloth, material and the detail used was just perfect. It shows modesty, simple and elegant. Love it!

I was not really happy with the food served. I don't pay RM70++ for these food. Not only that, the food does not even taste good, the amount given was so small and there is no specialty at all. They did not served what they promised, grandma stated. Disappointing.

Anyway, it was a good time there with grandparents.

After the event, Chery, Mel and myself went to Straits Quay to just chill and have dinner in Weissbrau.

I have been eating a lot that day, so greens for dinner it is. Mel and Chery shared the frankfurter served with fries and spatzli.

Was there fore about 2 hours then is time to go home. It has been a long day but a good one. =)
Blessed Night everyone. xoxo
